Welcome to The Meadow!

I’m Megan Magdalene Rising, and I am so thrilled to have you join our community of partners.

The Meadow is a 27-acre raw land retreat nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.

This is a sacred, grounded space designed specifically for women and femmes to slow down, restore, be cared for, and reconnect with nature and their own bodies.

What happens at the Meadow

  • Retreats

    Multi-day and day retreats honoring the "turning of the wheel," such as our Beltane Pole Retreat, Medicine Woman Retreat, Waterfall Retreat, and upcoming Honeybee Devotion and Samhain gatherings.

  • Full Moon Gatherings

    Informal, potluck-style community gatherings where women can share snacks, drink tea, and give or receive offerings like massages

  • Movement Classes

    Regular outdoor classes on the deck, including Pole Basics, Yoga, and Sensual Somatic Alchemy

  • Airbnb

    Our Yurt is currently listed on AirBnB. We love meeting new guests <3

LOCATION

The Meadow is located in Floyd, Virginia

In efforts to keep the Meadow a safe space for women & femmes, we will not list our address publicly and only give it out on a need to know basis.

  • Our primary goal is to fill our retreats by sharing The Meadow with your audiences! We are specifically calling in "exotic beauties," pole artists, wild women, and those seeking a deeper connection to their heart, body and mind.

COMMISSION STRUCTURE

  • Commission Structure: As a partner, you earn competitive kickbacks for every person you bring to The Meadow. For our standard day + overnight retreats, you earn $33 OR $55 for every guest who signs up through you (depending on cost of retreat), which is added on top of any base facilitator pay you might be receiving. If you bring a larger group, we can negotiate a fair rate.

  • How to Share: We encourage you to cross-post our events, directly message your networks (like local pole studios or dance communities), hand out physical flyers with QR codes, and use Instagram Reels or TikTok to funnel local Virginia or NC audiences to our page.

Hard and Soft Rules

  • Consent is Priority #1: Participation in any activity is never expected or mandatory; it is always an invitation.

  • Inclusivity: We are proudly a sex-work positive, LGBTQ+ friendly, and POC friendly environment.

  • Nudity: Nudity may occur at The Meadow. We clearly advise that if nudity offends a guest, this retreat space is likely not an aligned match for them.

  • Substances: Alcohol is not provided but is not strictly prohibited. However, The Meadow will intervene if alcohol use crosses boundaries or creates an unsafe environment. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas.

  • Pets: No pets are allowed, as we already have animals on-site. We only make exceptions for actual service animals.

Photo & Video Content

Affiliate Babes have access to a shared content folder containing high-quality promotional materials. You can share:

  • Pole Dance Footage: Videos from our deck and meadow pole shoots.

  • Event Graphics: Canva-designed flyers & QR code graphics.

  • Branding: On your own videos/photo content or edits of the Meadow

  • Atmosphere Imagery: Photos of the yurt, the land, flower crown making, and our Golden Hour photo shoots

  • The Meadow welcomes all pure hearts. While many offerings center women, all good people are welcome on this land.

  • Absolutely. The Meadow is a fully inclusive, LGBTQ+ affirming space.

  • Yes. The Meadow is committed to being a welcoming, inclusive space for everyone.

  • Yes.

    The Meadow is a sex work-positive space and we ask all guests to honor and respect that fully.

  • The Meadow uses a composting toilet system. We've put a lot of love into making it a beautiful, comfortable experience — think fancy glamping, not a plastic porta-potty.

  • Indoor plumbing is in progress! In the meantime, fresh spring water is available for washing up, and the creek is always open for a wild woman bath.

  • Yes. The yurt is equipped with multiple solar-powered outlets so you can charge your devices.

  • Yes. Propane camp stoves are available. Think anything you'd make while fancy camping.

  • The Meadow is home to two dogs and two cats. To keep everyone safe and comfortable, outside pets are not permitted. Exceptions are made for service animals — please reach out directly.

  • Cigarette smoking is welcome in designated outdoor areas. Please use the provided ashtrays.

  • Alcohol is not provided but is not prohibited. We trust you to be adults. The Meadow prioritizes being a safe space for all guests, and we reserve the right to intervene if alcohol use becomes disruptive.

  • Never. Everything is an invitation, not an expectation. Come as you are and engage however feels right.

  • The Meadow is a body-positive space and nudity may be present at some events. If nudity offends you, this may not be an aligned match — please feel free to reach out and we can chat about it.

  • Consent is the number one priority at The Meadow. All activities operate on a consent-first basis, always.
